Phil,

No. I am just disappointed that someone that encouraged so many people to be interested in his project and was so adamant about promoting it all over the place, doing interviews, Toronto Star newspaper articles, etc and getting all this publicity suddenly goes silent for months after posting frequently. Then when he finally resurfaces he says he's sorry and that he'll post more pictures on flickr soon to tide his readership and followers over until his next post but then does the complete oppposite and is silent now again for 6 months. I mean, he was even talking about putting out a book on this project. It takes like 10 minutes every couple weeks or so to post a short update for all of us that have been faithfully following this project with interest.

He built this great foundation, a website, set up a cam, etc and publicized it all over the place and then just abandoned it. Disappointing.

Sorry that is so hard for you to understand.

Hi
Now that you have had some time to live with your Marvin Integrity windows, are you still happy with them? We about to sign on the dotted line for Integrity windows for our new home. The choices are mind boggling when it comes to windows, and as you know, windows are a big line item on the budget, seen in every room in the house, and something you hope will last a long time.

Scott,

How is it unfortunate for you? Are you paying for content / updates to the site? Do you have a vested interest in this project?

I've been following along with interest as well - but I won't be demanding an update. Hopefully things are still OK with Jeremy, his family, the project etc.

In your last update on Oct 7 says that you haven't given up on blogging, but it's now March 10 (5 months later) and not one single update. So, it's now 8 months and you've only put one comment on this blog.

Unfortunate for all of us that were following you and believed in what you were doing...

Really sounds like this guy has lost interest in talking about this project after so much hype in the newspapers and on the web about it. Sad.

@Scott — Thanks! Indeed, we're quite happy with our millwork... it all turned out very nice. I actually a few more photos to upload of the kitchen, as there's some more millwork in there as well. It was done by Tim Jones at Mainframe Industries (905-403-0906)

@JFRPRR — Thank you... and I love your stairs!

@Paula — We'll eventually make the budget available... I'm simply waiting until the project is complete. That said, it all comes down to cost per sqft. In our case, we're tracking towards $270.95/sqft. This includes EVERYTHING (but the existing land costs). If you'd like some more detail, give me a shout at jeremy@360winnett.com

@andy — The mesh lights are called "Random Lights", and they were purchased from Design Within Reach (http://www.dwr.com/product/random-light-small.do)
